Laid off after about 9 to 10 years of service, of which the last 7 years were in continuous full time service for this company. After managing to make it through all the reorganizations, off-shoring and managerial shuffling. I guess there is not much you can do for a place that manages to write down losses about twice their annual profits in a shot.
