A run to Croton Point Park with a couple of photography buddies to try to get some pictures of eagles, could not get any shots to write home about.
We saw groups of bird watchers at the park, they looked like old hands at the birding game. A few members in those groups had spotting scopes with specialized camera attachment options.
I also tried a pano sequence, but rushed it, with poor results. Seems I was having a down day photo wise. I could not manage a good shot of what I was trying for, but built up some experiences to do better.
